Energizing Berry & Banana Smoothie Bowl

Thicker than a drinkable smoothie, this bowl is designed to be eaten with a spoon. Using frozen fruit eliminates the need for ice, which can water down the flavor.

  1. Add the yogurt and a splash of milk to your blender first. This helps the blades spin freely.
  2. Add the frozen berries, frozen banana chunks, and honey.
  3. Blend on high speed, using the tamper if your blender has one, until the mixture is thick and creamy like soft-serve ice cream. Add more liquid only if absolutely necessary.
  4. Pour into a bowl. Smooth the top with a spoon.
  5. Arrange toppings in neat rows: granola, sliced fresh fruit, chia seeds, and a drizzle of honey or nut butter.
