Soft centers, crispy edges, and pools of melted chocolate. Using browned butter adds a nutty toffee flavor that elevates these cookies.

  1. Cream butter and sugars together until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
  2. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Scoop onto baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt while warm.
