A rich and creamy dish that balances spices perfectly. The chicken is marinated to tender perfection before being simmered in a velvety tomato-based sauce.

Marination is key! For the most tender chicken, marinate overnight in the refrigerator. The yogurt enzymes break down the meat fibers.
  1. Mix yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, salt, cumin, garam masala, and paprika in a bowl. Add chicken cubes and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Grill or pan-fry the chicken until lightly charred and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. In a large pan, sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until soft. Add spices (cumin, paprika, coriander) and cook for a minute.
  4. Stir in tomato puree and simmer until the sauce thickens. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer gently.
  5. Add the cooked chicken to the sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with basmati rice or garlic naan.
